Before officially collaborating, Product Manager and code for San Francisco will walk through project expectations and documents. Once agreed, this checklist will finalize onboarding.
Product Manager will:
- [ ] Provide project description and logo for project page
- [ ] Provide GitHub link
- [ ] Create readme template with initial description
- [ ] Provide Google Docs link
- [ ] Identify what roles are needed
Code for San Francisco will:
- [ ] Create Google Docs folder on Google Drive under /Projects.
- [ ] Verify project manager has write access and can add users
- [ ] Verify public can view folder
- [ ] Create project on Github
- [ ] Create project on Project Page
- [ ] Create team @sfcivictech.org email
- [ ] Create a domain if needed
- [ ] Create blurb to send in newsletter announcing new project
- [ ] Reach out to any members who may be particularly interested
